A Hand Up Not a Handout
“A Hand Up Not a Handout” is the mission statement at LAMP. Started in 1984, LAMP helps provide
the basic needs of homeless and hurting members of our community. LAMP believes that all persons are
created in the image of God and operates on the premise that all of God’s children have the same needs
of food, clothing, shelter and love. Contributions of time and resources are always greatly appreciated.
